Hi! Happy New Year. I feel like I barely read any yuletide stories before the reveal this year due to one thing or another, but I'm certainly going to keep digging through the archive as time allows. This is what I wrote, for ranalore:

Friday, nestra scored tickets to the next screening of Serenity, and I shall be flying down to Texas to visit her at the end of the month. Nestra no doubt will subject me to a Stargate: Atlantis marathon while I'm there, but... Serenity! Mini vacation!

Saturday was nestra's birthday, and I was at a wedding all day, wearing a kick-ass suit, drinking free beer, and laughing my ass off every time the groom did the worm on the dance floor. I wasn't too sure about them getting married, but they looked calm and happy yesterday, so I only can wish them the best.

And regarding nestra... happy (belated) birthday! I'm going to be mildly sappy and say that I can't imagine my life without you in it. (Actually, I can't imagine life without you in it anymore, since we've been brain twins for so long now. What would I do without you? Let's not contemplate that terrible thought.)
